Town Hall with Flowers

This is the town hall (Hotel de Ville) at Pacy, a smallish town in Normandy, about 120 km west of Paris, which is the proud holder of three flowers as a ville fleuri--the most it can earn at a regional level. More vivid viewed large!

Pacy prides itself on its flowers--and they adorn this handsome administrative building on all four sides. French communes can enter a competition called
concours des villes et villages fleuris, and earn one to three flowers at the regional level. (Four stars means they are competing at a national level.)
