We Stood To the Westward

We stood till 8 in the morning.
The wind was shifting
and the darkness lifting.

We looked West and N/West
and watched for ships.
And yes, we talked about relationships.

We expressed our Night Time worries
and our Day Time worries
and our fear that love is out of reach.

We walked along the beach.
