Salty Dog Words/Farce

A jumble of salty dog words,

In the wrong room
stubbing my tender toes
on unfamiliar objects.

me hearties.

And naked!
The drawers and wardrobe
containing no clothes.

Haven't the foggiest what they mean,
myself being a landlubber.

So I'm stuck,
searching for a light
and hearing voices.

I don't know whether to contact
Bruce or the admiralty
for a translation.

In another room,
my room!
a relationship is already under way.

Perhaps Danforth will know.
By all accounts he speaks Flook
to a very high standard.

A soft voice calls in the dark
'Is that you?'

A very High Standard.

So this is seduction.

By all accounts.

I enter.

Farce
