Distinguished visitor

Dr Vincent O'Neill, head of Irish Aid in the Irish Embassy in Malawi, visited our projects today to the delight of the villagers.
Never before has such a distinguished guest been seen. Some people in the local remote areas have rarely seen a white person.
he is seen in the pic with some of the Sonda Co-operative, trying his hand at hoeing!

Harisen Writes:

John,
I was in Sonda, Lusangazi and some of the areas with Vincent Ó Neill, from the Irish Embassy, to see the pumps as well as irrigation and farming areas.
He was very happy to have reached in some of these remote areas, as he has been hearing about what we are doing.
The villagers were happy as well to welcome such an important visitor.
It gets cooler in the evening here down to 10 degrees.
Áthas, Fatima and Charity are sending regards.

Harisen.
