Zucchini Flowers

Or courgette flowers to you and me. I was pleasantly surprised, when we got back from holiday, to find that I still had flowers (and courgettes) growning in my raised beds. I also have some onions that need harvesting and some runner beans and carrots that still look healthy. A much better attempt at grow your own than last year. I have even got my own runner beans seeds for next year.

Had a lovely afternoon as one of the friends I made at antenatal classes, came to visit with her two boys. All the more lovely as she now lives in New Zealand and we haven't seen her and her family for over two years.

Looking forward to seeing them all again on Saturday.
