Learning day by day

Today was the last weekday outing out of school holidays, as Carys starts reception on Monday. As the weather was iffy, we went to Willows rather than Whipsnade. It was quite quiet as the majority of schools have gone back. So much so that we had Tristan the Runaway Tractor to ourselves.

William loves the banana slide and Mr. Independent climbed the stairs numerous times and then giggled all the way down on my knees.

The animals in the feeding zone were really close to the fences today which left me with a dilemma for my blip between a very cheeky goat and this Alpaca. It was the teeth that won it for the Alpaca.

Slightly later than intended blip and now no time for commenting, due to an unscheduled visit to the out of hours doctors with William and a red and swollen willy! None of us were any good, William was screaming, Jim was wincing in sympathy and I was wringing my hands. Medical issues are normally not a problem for me, but boys bits! Help! Anyway he has balangitis, a common infection in little boys and we now have broad spectrum oral antibiotics and cream for his willy. Now comes the fun of getting the meds into and on to him.
