Coot on the Hiz

Took my very clingy son for a walk/push hoping to get him to sleep. He likes the ducks but normally there are too many pigeons for my liking. Today the pigeons were on the other bank, mobbig some silly woman who was feeding them and the ducks despite the signs asking you not to as it encourages the rats! Mmm lovely! This Coot was intent on building a nest for some reason. A little late in the year I think. the nest was too far away to shoot but thought this made a nice snap.
