My little brothers big day

A wedding in a field with the warning of storms.... they were very lucky with the weather with minor showers and the sun shining.

Where to start! massive teepee, was set up, Full of colour and joyfulness.
They actually got married inside a wooden gazebo type structure. To the accompaniment of a country/folk group playing live music inside a canvas gazebo close by.. Outside was a stilted green man.. For those who don't know the green man is a pagan symbol of fertility (often seen in christian churches), He was blessing people with good blessings and of course the bride and groom fertility blessings ;).

Afterwards was a time for photos, though the sun made it kind of difficult, shouldn't complain huh. (photo bottom left)

Then we entered the bit teepee. Food was consumed, speeches were made... The photo in the bottom right shows the lil bride finger puppets i made, also made grooms which i might blip in tomorrows blip. They were placed inside crackers as favours.

The image you see of the little characters (top right) were the bride and grooms wedding topper (or so to speak they had a cupcake tower) They were made by the makers of wallace and gromit who are friends of the couple. They also designed the labels for the cider bottles in the bottom left photo too!

And then of course came the time to party!!! (top left photo, libbie dancing with the bride hehe) They had a folk/country band playing but before that they had a guy called Jonny Awsum (not sure thats spelt right) HE is a BRILLIANTLY funny song writer/commedian... He takes details from the bride and groom, their friends and family and makes them into songs. Just brilliant. The song in the link he did actually play at the wedding.

Brilliant wedding, and big congrats to my brother and new sister in law :D
