Though the glass - wetly

As I write most of the Argyll ferries have stopped running, the wind is battering the front of the house, the rain is gurgling in the downpipes ; in other words the much heralded storm has arrived. This picture shows one of the old oak trees above the house, seen through the roof of the conservatory. It seemed an appropriate image for a day on which my travel plans (and those of many others) have been and will be severely curtailed. I hope the electricity and the broadband stay on so that I can at least use the time to catch up on my backlog.
