I took this pic first thing this morning - I think it was the novelty of actual sunlight and shadows that made me get the camera.

I had a meeting all morning in Callendar House. It is so picturesque and will be even more spectacular in a few weeks as autumn kicks in but, today, I didn't have time to dawdle.

There was a big chestnut tree in the park as I wandered in and all I could think about during the next 3 hours stuck in a room was whether I could persuade Nay to come and get conkers at the weekend!

Going placidly & "gracefully surrendering the things of youth" but not yet :)
