I am throwing a bridal shower at the end of September, and I'm in the process of sending out invitations. I just scored 140 recipe cards for $7 at Michaels and a nifty recipe box, so I'm including a few cards with each invitation with the request that each guest brings at least one of their favorite recipes. All the cards will be placed into the box, which will be given to the bride. I read that it's one of the most popular bridal shower traditions, and I'm not surprised -- I think it's an amazing idea! I'd love to have a collection of everyone's favorite recipe(s) so every dish from the recipe box would have a special meaning to me. Take note, my future bridal shower planner, wherever and whoever you are...!
