Manorhouse unwrapped

The local manorhouse has just had two enormous surrounding conifer hedges taken down and for the first time in half a century or more one is able to appreciate this fine old building. The original house was built in about the 15C but since then it has been restored and extended over the centuries.

Last night's sunset was a shepherd's delight as today has been glorious!
