Plockton from Mast Hill

I spent a very pleasant hour around the shore this morning, taking lots of views for Sue and Val who own the cottage. The highland cattle had moved down into the fields outside the cottage and so I've had some good blips of them today too, they were nibbling next door's honeysuckle when I was out in the garden a short while ago.

It's a sort of family tradition when we are staying here to walk/run/cycle up to the mast on top of the hill which can be seen from the front window of the cottage. Today was a cycle day. I've never yet reached the top on my bike and once again had to dump it in the trees and complete the final part on foot. Tony did better though and had the fun of riding down the steep descent on our return. It's worth the effort getting up there on a good day as the views are superb, and we only passed one dad and his children on the whole ride, having the top to ourselves. This blip is one view from the top, of Plockton village (famous for sailing and the TV series Hamish Macbeth starring our namesake Robert Carlyle!)

Needs to be seen in large methinks!
