Hazy Dayz

Had to make a trip to the Gold Coast for an appointment today (3 hrs each way) and took this one of the sunset from the side of the highway just south of the Queensland border at about 4.45pm. The mountains in the background would be part of the Border Ranges National Park but I have no idea what the haze is from.

At first I thought there must have been a bushfire at the back of the ranges but there was no smoke smell in the air. Also, the haze was there all the way home so I don't think it could have been fire as the smoke wouldn't travel that far. It has been a hot, sunny day so it shouldn't have been fog - it's still a mystery but very hazy it was!

I didn't get home till about 7.30pm so a bit of a late blip tonight.
