Friendship

Harisen writes again today, having had no internet service for 3 days.:

John,
Yesterday I was in Ungweru.
I went to give them a cheque worth Fifty Thousand Malawi Kwacha.
I also went to Ekaiweni, they were all sending regards.
Harisen.

When the DIT students met the Ungweru youth group for the last get together, they left a guitar and a promise of 50000 Kw to set up a little fund for the Mzuzu students to enable them get more involved with their community.
The Ungweru group was set up in, St Augustine's Parish, Lewinga, by Fr John Ryan and his community. Fr John is an Irish priest and is professor of Mathematics in Mzuzu University.
He is in Malawi for 30 years and is supported by his many friends and relations in Ireland and in a very special way by our sister organisation Small Change, in Cork, powered by Johanna and Patrick Fitzpatrick and their family.
We love the link and the people.
