Brown's Clix

By tonybrown

The pleasant pheasant.

This chap was having a quiet munch in a local field as I drove past, and for once I had the camera with me, but not the sun unfortunately.

He first tried to lose himself by huddling down into the the corn stubble, but once he'd realised that he was far fatter than that was, he legged it for the safety of a nearby hedge.

I just managed to blip him before he made cover. I think he's probably quite young as his tail is not yet its full length, unless it's been "got at" by something of course.
