Gillipaw's Journal

Autumn at Pollok House

Holiday weekend, but still loads to do around the house. Headed over to Pollok House later on, one of my favourite places. So many photo opportunites, especially at leaves begin to turn.

It's been a while since I played around with my 50mm lens, and am rather pleased with this shot, taken at f/1.4. Beautiful colours hanging across one of the pavilions in front of the house. I like the rusty ironwork too.

What a small world we live in. One minute I am in touch with my friend H in Chicago, then watching a video sent from L in Penang, Malaysia. Keeping in touch is so much easier these days.
