Hopping around!

Speckled Swan

Today I went to the Pumpkin Fair in the town. This was the 37th annual occurrence of this event. The fancy squash forming the frame is the 'speckled swan'.

We saw plenty of pumpkins from the very tiny to the truly monstrous. There were also marrows, runner beans, sunflowers, onions, decorated Victoria sponge cakes, 'animals' made of vegetables and fruits. We saw Morris Dancers and school children dancing and singing. There were human hamster balls and young 'uns doing bungee trampolining. The weather stayed fine and we had a grand day out.

A few more pumpkins here!
