Edradour Distillery

The weather was nice today, it seems like a nice day for a drive. From Aberdeen it is 100 miles to the Edradour Distillery, but worth the effort. This is the smallest distillery in Scotland, with a production of about 900 barrels per year. Here is one of them arriving in the warehouse where it will spend the next 10 years, at least.

I am pleased to say I did not leave empty handed. I purchased a bottle at cask strength. It might go well with the chocolate Santa shown in the entry yesterday.
