from the 21st floor

so, we come all this way, just for a view of the bleedin' eiffel tower.

only kidding, amazing views from the hotel room (..just not caught in this speedy snap!). last night of luxury tonight before moving out to the 'burbs to hospital accommodation. could be sketchy.

so awesome being in sydney. i reckon we're going to like it here. lashing rain and cold weather means it's not too much of a culture shock. just like home. apart from the accent..the big city..the harbour bridge..the opera house.. etc etc! feels great to be here and very exciting indeed.

went for a run (okay, a jog) this evening to ward off the jet lag and stretch off the legs after yesterday's 24 hours of travelling. was a wonderful sunset jog through the CBD and around the opera house. red skies behind the harbour bridge.

i heard a tourist saying, "i wish i lived in sydney" and i look around me at the amazing scenery, laughed out loud and thought to myself, "I DO!".
