Okinawa

Welcome to?Okinawa or Oki-wa-wa as the nurse who gave us our jabs called it! The craziness and noise of Naha hit us, walking along one of the main streets we saw snakes covered in jars of alcohol with their mouths open ready to bite, mobile phone charms of every description and restaurant owners trying to persuade people into eat.

We took?advice from the lonely plant guide and had a fantastic meal in an amazing restaurant. Sitting up at the counter we could watch the food being cooked, there was real atmosphere. The owners took a shine to us and gave us a discount off the bill. Maybe becasue Andy ordered the pigs ears even after they tried to persuade him not to. Another example of an Andy bad food decision!
