Brambles....

Another gorgeous day! Could get used to this.

Took myself off for a lovely 2 hour walk along the canal on the hunt for brambles after getting advice on where was 'good pickins' from Middleman.

I think I was a bit over enthusiastic in my 3 carrier bag optimism.....I ended up with just under a lb of brambles, which hardly covered the bottom of one of the bags! There were loads, but many were still green and not nearly ready for pickin' - but I'll know where to head back to!
