Twenty-Four Little Hours

What a difference today!

It's been a gob-smackingly beautiful afternoon. Finally the Indian summer we were promised has arrived.

I took my camera up the hill and photographed the hills and the distant sea.

Tess came home from school and threw on shorts and sandals. Some kids do tennis, football or ballet after school. Our daughter does climbing and swinging!

As soon as I saw her bright pink clothes against the deep blue sky, I grabbed a cup of tea and joined her in the garden. Blooming lovely.

There was nothing that caught my eye in my photos of my walk but this one in the garden summed up the change in the weather and our moods wonderfully.
