Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Generations

Henry died and missed two wars. Annie endured both without her man. Emily lived to a ripe old age before being "reunited with her parents. I don't know why but I found this headstone almost like a tale waiting to be told. You could feel their twentieth century story in the ground. They didn't even have radio when Henry dies but Emily probably watched colour television. That's how fast that century travelled.

All irrelevant on an Indian summer's day when the dust of these three lives has finally settled.
