Stopping and looking

A lovely relatively lazy morning including some experimental cooking - aubergine scrambled egg in a flatbread wrap - then went to see Aged P. Stopped by a field in Kent for this shot. Love this time of year when they're getting in the hay.

Aged P was confused but very sweet today. We went to a garden centre and she fell in love with the Japanese displays. Prompted me to post a rather emotional picture and message on facebook.

Bloody roads a nightmare today. M25 madness again today but got home intact, only to get caught in further jams in Ealing when we went to North London for the evening. Have to say Willesden struck me as very grotty but the place we went to eat - Sanzio's in Willesden Green - did some of the best Italian food I've eaten, and that includes the ice cream and an excellent cup of coffee. Brilliant company too, haven't laughed so much in ages.

Got to bed at 2am - getting to be a bit of a night bird, me ...
