can you tell what it is yet?

beauty is found in strange places - this is just outside the ugliest building ever created in edinburgh with taxpayers' cash (clue: architects wet themselves with excitement when they talk about it, the majority of scots hate it and the queen has to look at it from the windows every time she comes to holyrood).

i detest the building (the expense, that it's barely fit for purpose, the ugliness), but i find myself drawn to it for snapping purposes, and not just because it's handy when i only get half an hour for lunch and need a blip ;-) in among the ugliness there are interesting angles, so i've made it a pet project to try and at least make images of it that attract the eye - i'm not sure anyone can make it beautiful really, tho maybe it's just this beholder's eye.

this shot is cheating a little in a way - it's the reflection in the ponds in front of the building - but what's a little cheating between blip friends?
