c'mon, a bedful of hostas and you wouldn't think of that line? i don't believe you for a minute!

spent the morning bent over cutting down dead daffs and clearing and weeding said bed of hostas and wondering about the ill effects on the back (in the end the back was fine - backs of the thighs on the other hand... ouch!). but the effect on the bed was great, all tidy, holes filled with new plants and generally job's a good 'un. then an afternoon at M&E's planting tubs, more cutting down and lots of lawn edging (tho there was a cuppa in it, hurrah).

knackered mate - but it's good for the soul to see you've made a difference with some physical graft. the fact that no-one comes along and fiddles, changes or dumps your work two hours later, and that it'll still be there more than 24 hours later is also good.
