Cape Cod sun

A fine flight and escape from the city. We landed in Boston and immediately left for Cape Cod. As always, F and I have no plan - the holiday happens as we follow the road. We may stay in one place for a few days or we may move on quickly to explore somewhere new. Our drive to Cape cod took us to Yarmouthport and The Colonial House Inn (one of many around Massachusetts as we discovered on the journey). We were put in Room 101 (!?) and we chatted with our Lithuanian hostess, who pointed out a route to a good sunset. After dinner (cooked by a chef from Edinburgh who has a daughter in Gipsy Hill, just down the road from where we live in London), we tootled off to the sunset site. It was marvellous! There were ospreys and wading birds, and chatty locals. Perfect.
