The Hazyland Boys

WOW Hero!!!

We've had a great day at the Heelwork To Music Show. It's been brilliant to meet up with lots of friends in the sport and my dogs have been wonderful.

Hero competed in Intermediate Freestyle for the first time. He won out of Novice class at the last show, so we have worked to improve his routine and make it suitable for the higher level. He was a star and won the class! There were a couple of messy jumps, but besides from that, I think he was flawless!

He also competed in Novice HTM and again he worked really well and won the class!

Whisper worked in Advanced HTM. He is my best friend and I loved being in the ring with him. He is 12 years old and sometimes it can be hard to keep up with the younger dogs, but our goal is to have fun and enjoy our time in the ring and today that resulted in a 2nd place in the class. WOW Whisper. Well done old man.

Beat and Biscuit did not compete as I was judging the Advanced Freestyle Class.

This was the last show of the year and it was hosted by the Border Collie Club so we finished the HTM and Freestyle Border Collie of the Year competition.

Hero was Novice and Intermediate Freestyle Border Collie of the Year!!!! and he was 3rd in Novice HTM. Beat was 3rd in Advanced Freestyle.

Today's picture is of Hero with his Border Collie of the Year rosettes.

Well done boys - I am so proud of you all!

You can see Hero's freestyle routine here!

Sorry everyone for not commenting much these days - there are not enough hours in my days!
