Muir Woods

The day was started by picking up my rental car and driving over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Muir Woods National Park. There I admired the Redwood trees. Amazingly tall. Impressive. Not any of my pics do them justice, but at least you can sort of see the scale in this one.. you cannot even see the top of the tree.

After visiting the forest, I decided to skip my initial idea to also visit Point Reyes, and drove South instead, towards Half Moon Bay. Resting in Montara today, some work related activities in Half Moon Bay tomorrow, and then onwards towards Monterey.
