Apple Harvest

We usually try to wait for our grandchildren Z and B to help us pick the apples, but there's a big storm forecast for tomorrow, so I thought I'd better pick them before they get blown down. The Little Tree That Could yielded about 5lb/2kilos, while the other tree had a bumper crop of 45lb/20kilos. We'll probably make applesauce from some of them -- I doubt we could eat all of them before they start going bad.

My daughters are visiting this week, so we'll send some apples back with them for Z and B.
