Morning has Broken

While the rest of blipworld has been tweeting colourful sunrises featuring an orange sun, this is my more subdued take, featuring a fine set of crepuscular rays.

This is one view, carefully zooming past numerous telephone wires, that we get from our upstairs windows. This stretch of the skyline, leads down toward Leeds city centre (not quite in shot), with the steeple of St. Margaret's Church Horsforth, about five miles away, being the prominent feature.

The sad news this evening, is that one of features of one of my earlier blips, a derelict mill in Bradford city centre, has been the scene of a major fire. This will be another great loss. It started just after I left for home this evening, I'll try to get close enough for some pictures tomorrow to assess the damage. It seems unlikely that there will be much left to save though.
