Monterey Sea Life

Today's trip: from Half Moon Bay to Big Sur to Monterey to Santa Cruz.

The drive from Monterey to Big Sur is amazing. Wonderful coastline. Lots of spots to stop and enjoy the view and make tens of thousands of photos :P

At Big Sur, I went to the Pfeiffer beach, recommended by a colleague, which was a great spot for lunch. Interesting hole in a rock there. See here.

Then in Monterey I just went to Cannery Row. I had not expected the amount of sea life that was there! Above is just a sample. There were tons more along the pier. And I also saw a sea otter, munching on some food (crab perhaps?). Wonderful :)
