Last ditch effort

Another beautiful sunny day, but I couldn't go out with my camera because I had an appointment with the eye specialist for my checkup first thing this morning. The eye drops they gave me to dilate my eyes worked so well the pupils still looked like saucers (to me anyway) at 5:00 pm. So when I saw this flower, and it was already evening, I figured it had to be the blip for today.
