Haha, but really, sea cucumbers are pretty crazy creatures. Very cool. As a defense mechanism, they can throw up their internal organs and regrow them. For real. I had a mini spaz attack looking at the critters in the touch tank at the marine lab :D Everything is BIGGER here, the sea stars, the sea urchins, the nudibranchs. They are HUGE, and it's very exciting for a biologist.

I also got to start growing some bacteria cultures in the lab! Stuff like this is definitely a lot more fun when you are in control of the experiment. It's kind of like gardening. You keep an eye on how the cells are growing, and incubate it, and nurture it, play it Mozart in the night. Ya know.

So, the week definitely improved after Monday and I got a good grip on my time management. Let's hope it stays that way!
