Milkweed seed pod

I enjoyed a lovely afternoon walk around Glenwood Gardens today, in beautiful weather - the mercury topped out at 82F! The bees and butterflies were very busy amongst the flowers - particularly the goldenrod and purple aster which were in abundance. However, my butterfly shots didn't come out very well, so I've chosen the milkweed seed pod as my blip for today - I find them so beautiful. Having been away two of the last three weeks, we're just having a quiet evening in tonight.
