Lathyrus Odoratus

South Downs sundown

No time for fungi today as I had to go up to London on the early train and was then stuck in meetings almost all day. I escaped at half four knowing I wouldn't get back in time to look for any fungi before dark. However I stopped on Pound Common on my drive home from the railway station to look at the full moon suspended in a rose pink sky to the east as the sun set in the west. I had trouble deciding which to blip but in the end thought this one was the more dramatic. Five minutes later it had all gone as a thick bank of clouds - visible on the lefhand side - swirled up and over the Downs.
