Highlights

The days are pretty unexceptional recently. Chores and routine stuff. It's not unpleasant but it doesn't make a good story either. The weather though colder and wetter is still remarkable for mid October. The garden is finished but potted flowers continue to bloom with coloured leaves piled up around the pots. (which tells you that I haven't done the raking up chores yet) Here in the city there's been enough shelter to protect them through the three(only!) nights of frost.

The leaf sprinkled steps take me into the hairdressing salon where Shelley does her best to make me look beautiful.
