Gateway in Bath

The sun was shining brilliantly this morning and we had a little walk down the road from where my daughter is living high above the city of Bath. The views were too much into the sun but the sunlight shining through this elaborate entrance caught my eye. You can see lots of broken classical style masonry on the inside too. (No I am not still in the cemetery!)

This much less ornate doorway also attracted my attention here in the same road below the church.

At the top of the road is the lovely St Stephen's Church which you can see on the skyline when down in the city centre.
