J C Carroll plus the bass playing third of his trio.

JC was playing his acoustic set at The Docking Station in Brentford tonight. Better known for his role in The Members, (Sound of the Suburbs, Offshore Banking Business), he plays a mixture of blues, folk, popular. It's a thoroughly good night of music for people who like the real thing and not the manufactured rubbish that you get on the radio most of the time.

The support came from couple of local lads, in their mid teens, playing a mixture of easy listening and acoustic rock numbers. They were good, and M had the enjoyment of knowing that she had taught one of them music when he was just 6. Who knows, maybe he'll turn out to be her first famous pupil.

This is the third time I've seen JC play and it's a pleasure every time, as much for the fact he is a nice bloke as it is for the music.
