Forest grumps

Today was our annual autumnal forest walk with the kids.
We took our wellies, raincoats, shrieks, Taytos, three flasks of watered down fruit juice, ailing Volvo, popcorn, chicken pox blisters, shouts, tattoos, yells, buggy with flat wheel, gallon of Calpol, flask of hot tea, Twirls, twirling batons, screams, balls and howls and headed to Avondale House.

There was much messing on the cairn. We disappeared swiftly before anyone realised that the kids had broken it...
I learnt that the fall of the leaves is precipitated by the holler of kids bickering, especially when the cries soar above 120db.

We complied straight away, thankful that they should be so worried for our safety. They explained than they cannot work properly when they cannot hear the sound of their own chainsaws...
