The journey continues...

The sun has got its hat on :)

It was such a good day again today! Me, Alexia and Cat went to the Reserva Ecologica Costanera Sur! It's pretty much just a massive walking area surrounded by reeds. There's supposed to be over 250 species of birds but I'm pretty sure we saw less than 10 birds, never mind different species! We had a picnic of baguettes, ham+cheese, cream cheese and crisps and beer. It was fab! We even found a beach, small and slightly dirty but still a beach, which was nice seeing as I didn't even think that Buenos Aires had a beach!

There was also some sort of crazy parade on today. They even closed the worlds widest avenue (140m wide!) which is where we got the photo taken. Behind in the background you can see the Obelisk which commemorates the founding of the city. It's probs one of the best landmarks and has been a great help when I've been lost over the past couple of weeks or asking for directions around the center! The parade was class to watch. There were so many groups of people dressed up in full blown Latin American costumes and they were all doing the same dance. It was an amazing atmosphere and they all were singing along to the music and even looked like they were enjoying themselves in such crazy heat!
