What do you get when you cross a mancala set, knit

A wee hat for the bear. This is the first of possibly 12 or more mancala bowls. Knitted up ready to test if the wool will felt tomorrow. At the moment it does seem to resemble an elf hat, but it if works, looks like knitted mancala sets will be this years knitted present.

In other news we just spent a small fortune on 2 new sofas. Fingers crossed we still like them when they turn up (and the boiler keeps working this winter).
