Sideways

Picked up the car and drove across the Golden Gate Bridge (what a thrill!) and up to the Sonoma Valley. Wine Country :-)

Great lunch at our first vineyard, and small diversion when a local decided to drive into the back of our car (no-one hurt, State Troopers very nice) then Karen deserved to enjoy the first two tastings of the trip.

I know Napa gets all the glory (and we were prepared the next day to find out why) but the wine in Sonoma was really excellent. Couldn't resist a close-up blip.
