Autumn Bliss

It is such a cheery sight to see the Autumn Bliss raspberries still fruiting their socks off. They have produced some fabulous fruit this year despite the lack of warmth and it always feels very indulgent to be picking raspberries out of the normal season. Both Cara and Bruce love helping me to pick the berries and, to be honest, they are such faithful chums that I do not begrudge them some from the lower canes.

Tomorrow we are off south to Lancashire en route to Berkshire to visit my daughter and family for half-term. I'm not sure how long we will stay - it will all depend on how the two dogs get on with their one cat, oh and the 3 boys of course! It will be fun.
