The new toy

Our lovely gardener, Graham of Graham's Gardens, acquired this new tall tree-trimmer about half an hour before he arrived in the pouring rain to tidy our garden for the autumn. I'm happy to say he tamed our Chilean Lantern tree beautifully so that I can once again see out of my sitting room window - and he did it without any terrifying acrobatics on the ladder. (Always dicey in wellies in the wet).
