Fiery dawn

This flaming red sky had me hanging precariously out of the window first thing this morning. It's the first of a series, and even as I upload it the sky is turning a more delicate pink and dove grey, bringing the usual pangs by becoming more beautiful by the minute. Soon the sun will rise over Gourock and the subtlety will vanish - and then, very probably, the clouds will re-assert themselves and we'll be back to the usual grey. But for now it's wonderful.
