Brian's Bits

''We care with a chair.''

Seems to have caught on. I don't think there's anything in law ... yet, to make it compulsory: how ever good an idea it is, but there's an amazing number of small shops around town sporting one.

To my knowledge these are the only folk to provide one ''outside'' their premises.

Arguably one of the top 3 real butchers in town. That we can easily remember, we've had 7-8 (Including some Supermarkets.) during the time we've lived here (Only 33yrs, so we're hardly locals yet.) A few years ago we had a chat with some heavily laden Londoners crossing the car park: turns out they used to come up regularly just to buy Meat and cumberland sausage, on account of there being no longer any butchers down there (They said).
The young lad who's just popped his head out to see what the last flash was all about has just won apprentice of the year. I've now had 3 unsuccessful attempts to readably blip it.

I did do a shot or two of the inside of our old shop, now a Cafe, with the rather odd address of

''Five
4 Market square
etc.''

but I need to do a spot of homework on that 1st.
