Duck tale...

though it was a dull evening, went to nearby lake for photography today. was not expecting to get anything great...but chose photography over shopping (was planning to go buy some t-shirts for self otherwise)...
was trying to capture whatever I could in the park attached to the lake when all of a sudden some rhythymic croaks drew everyone's attention. Then we saw this group of ducks marching left-and-right through the park and then taking the plunge into the water and cross this narrow channel. Probably change of guard :-). They put up a real nice show for a few minutes and everybody was up on them with their cameras. They were so disciplined that it was hard to beleive we are seeing ducks...sometimes we underestimate the intelligence of other species on planet earth!
