Herriot Way. Day 1. Hell on high!

Walk today from Hawes, highest market town in England, to Keld around 13 miles and crossing Great Shunner Fell ( 716m) in some of the worst weather I have ever walked in. A lot of rain, high winds and a little snow. But weather got better as we approached the lovely hamlet of Keld , hence the blip, and a great welcome from the soon to be retired landlord at Keld Lodge, a former youth hostel but now more like a boutique hotel.
